The magic of labels keeps your online conversations fresh, organized and up-to-date.

Messaging | Wadja Saying?

How can something so simple be simplified?

By now we are all familiar with the email process.  We open up Yahoo mail, Gmail or any other mail services out there, and start filling in To’s, CC’s and Subject fields, composing personal and sometimes group messages to friends, family and c0-workers.

For sms we grab our phone, type a number and punch in a 160 character message. Some of us even send sms online through web-to-sms services.

Two awesome communication services that have changed our lives, changed the world.

At Wadja we felt like we could do better; re-engineer the process and make the whole messaging experience a unified, easier, and faster process. While already simple and familiar, email and sms could be more natural; perhaps becoming a timeline flow of words, thoughts and conversations, much like how we talk to each other everyday.

So this is a basic email format

And this is how we sms

Welcome to a simplified way to compose a message

With Wadja you are greeted with a compose form that is clean and clutter-free, but packs a lot of punch.

From this simple box, you can reach just about anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Form this one box you can send a basic email or sms text (to over 600 mobile networks), in a quick, natural format that saves time and makes sense.

For example, for Wadja Inbox and email messages use an “@” symbol…

@Paul Hewson = use Paul’s full name to send a Wadja inbox or email message

@p.hewson = use Paul’s Wadja ID (handle) to send a Wadja inbox or email message

p.hewson@my1email.com = use Paul’s regular email address to send a message

@p.hewson #U2 concert in New York = add a hashtag Label (#) syntax after Paul’s handle to post a message to a specific label conversation.

For sms messaging add a “+” symbol…

+Paul Hewson = use Paul’s full name to send an sms message

+p.hewson = use Paul’s Wadja ID (handle) to send an sms message

+001212123456 = use Paul’s mobile number to send an sms message
